A true symbol of the communist airpower, the MiG-15 was spreaded around the world in huge numbers and about 40 countries.

Its primary task was to destroy enemy bombers intruding in the soviet airspace, id est, the Boeing B-29, at the time the backbone of the U.S. Air Force dissuasion force. But the mass media only recorded epics figths against their counterpart and archienemy, the F-86 or Sabre over Korea, in 1950-1953.
