KOMTA
Kommissii po Tyazheloi Aviatsii (Heavy Aviation Commitee) 1922
As the ashes of the Civil War still burning, a group of eminent aircraft designers (Shukowski, Archangelski, Tupolev) began the construction of the first airbus in the world.
The KOMTA aircraft was intended for the peaceful transport of passengers around the vaste and rugged Soviet Union landscapes-as shows the enclosed accomodation for the pilot. Rampant soviet bureaucracy and technicals troubles cut off the proyect in 1924.
