Bombing Ethiopia • 1935 •
The italian attack on Ethiopia (Abissinia) in 1935 was the great achievement of the italian fascism in terms of brutality and futurism. Huge floats of bombers were used to wipe the largely preindustrial abissian army.
The bombers dropped over Ethiopia conventional bombs and poisonous gas. The use of this chemical weapon over "black" and inferior people was common in this time. For instance, french and spanish aeroplanes used them against "tribesmen" in Morocco.
