Hawker Aircraft Ltd
Founded in 1921 over the remains of the Sopwith A. C. as Hawker Engineering Co. Ltd. Renamed Hawker Aircraft Ltd in 1933. In 1963 merged with de Havilland, Avro, Armstrong-Whitworth, Folland and Blackburn to became Hawker Siddeley Aviation Ltd. In 1977 joined British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) and Scottish Aviation to form British Aerospace (BAe)
